If your magic was exhausted and you couldn't protect yourself from the monster attacking you, you could summon a creature more powerful than the monster to destroy it. Either that or summon a flying creature to help you escape.

Very good - you ALSO could have added that you can summon creatures for carrying items on, or even as a pet. However, keeping a summoned pet is never the best idea, as they have a tendancy to be unpredictable.
{He starts to hand out paper which has written on it a diagram and outlayed objects. The names of the objects have been blanked out, although it shouldn't be too hard to guess what is what.}
In the interests of the lesson, I've devised a SIMPLE piece of homework that really won't take too long to do. Simply write in the names of the objects on the paper.
{Offers a grin.}
Believe me, you ALL have come across these SIMPLE objects before. To help you out, however, I'm giving you some SCRAMBLED object names to help you out. Make a note of these...

DLCNAE, MPETANRGA, OBLOD, DEMAERL.
Hand it in tomorrow - you KNOW you can do it, heh heh.
For a bonus, If you can tell me what object DOESN'T belong there, You win a small prize of a chocolate bar - to be given to you in the cafeteria. Okay?

wow - that's gotta be a speed record.  I meant for you to go home and just work on it - not to do it in class...  But still - you are right...it DOES all seem in order. {Gives a brief shrug.} All right - My floating Skull assistant 'Bob' will hand you a chocolate bar. Luckily, I've got a spare one left for the runner up tomorrow morning...have fun, ya'all.  |
