Ahh...so that's how it's done! When I saw that Rob's attempt wasn't how to do it I couldn't for the life of me think what to do. I get it now though, hehe! ;D

Yeah, it is simple when you get the hang of it. You just have to think along the right lines - sort of the mental equivalent of looking at two dark faces and seeing a goblet.
Regarding Advanced Magic, perhaps it's a good idea to have it as a prerequisite for QEM (and vice versa). I shall make the necessary recommendations.

Hmm, quite enjoyed making that FIREWALL. Haven't done that for years. Hope I remembered how to do it properly - technique varies from mage to mage and I hope mine is still alright.
Btw, I have posted a stop-gap lesson for The Art Of Spellcasting, until the arrival of the permanant tutor.
Anyway, regarding QEM: the next lesson is on the SHUNT spell, a very amusing little spell! Assignment Two is along the exact same lines as this assignment.
Note: please do not attempt any QEM outside of the safe simulator room until you have passed this course. A short assessment will be held before Christmas.
