You'd be better off specifying values before spellcasting. Some spells go berserk when cast with information missing. *spellcasts CUSHION* 45 by 90! *spellcasts ZOOM* Yippee! ;D

CUSHION is a cute little spell that reduces g-forces and inertia by 90%, allowing very rapid speed and direction changes. Point of interest: the closer to 100% you want, the more powerful the spell has to be - the power requirements increase exponentially, as a matter of fact. Also, the faster you go, the greater your mass is, so it eventually cancels out, which has resulted in a maximum safe speed limit of 10% of the speed of light being set. The only way to get a total removal of g-force and intertia is to use QEM. This is in the form of a more powerful version of the MASS/SUSPEND Certainty System where the spells make your mass appear to be zero, which means no inertia or g-forces. I won't give details of this more powerful variant here because it's outside the scope of this course. Maybe next term.

*spellcasts SUSPEND* I'm getting a bit giddy so I'll it's back to good old terra firma for me. Btw, don't forget to cast SUSPEND here when you've finished levitating.

Thanks! I think I've covered just about everything for this particular lesson, rob. Lesson four should be fun as well, since we've all enjoyed flying about so much.

Spellcasting: M-A-S-S *starts to float* Now I know what kinda flying I want to do and exactly how to do it.... Spellcasting: Z-O-O-M Directly upwards...stops...turn round...fly off under "clouds" It's what Neo does in The Matrix: Reloaded!

If you like that then the next assignment will be even better! We're doing faster-than-light travel. [ModNote: Lesson Four is here.]
