*Smirkenorff wakes up, suddenly disturbed by a small breeze and flapping sound by his ear. He turns to look and sees that a tiny red dragon is flying about near him*
Small red dragon: Hello there, sir! Would you mind if I rested here for a bit? I've been flying for miles and when I saw this school I thought that maybe there was somewhere where I could rest. I saw this building and decided to see if there was anywhere I could rest in here.
Smirkenorff: Well, I wouldn't mind, but have you asked any of the teachers if you can rest in here? Do you intend to become a familiar like the rest of us in here? And what is your name?
Small red dragon: You can call me Red, that's what I've always called myself. I'd like to be a familiar, yes, because I've been out of a dragon-job for months - besides I've made friends with that nice GreenDragon lady. She doesn't know I'm in here of course *laughs*
Smirkenorff: It'd be nice for GreenDragon to have another dragon friend, as sometimes I'm not here much because of having to fly dungeoneers to Level 1 or 2. There's a nice pile of dragon-cushions over there, you can make it your own little corner.
Red: Thank you sir! *goes over to the cushions and re-arranges them* Oh and by the way, I am a great fan of yours, Sir Smirkenorff! *bows*
Smirkenorff: Indeed. Well I am privilaged to be your friend too!

{Looks over at the smaller red dragon.}
Ahh, you look like a young'un...just how old are ya, kid?
{The big red dragon sits there, chewing on remnants of a well-cooked pig.}
I recommend the pork, by the way, Smirky - nice and chewy.

*looks curiously at Morwena* Ooh...are you...a phoenix? I've never met one before - wow! Sorry if that sounded a bit rude, I didn't mean for it to be - it's just that I've always been in awe of phoenixes. I mean, they come back to life and their colours are beautiful!
{I assume that 100 in dragon years is equivalent to 20-something in human years}
Smirkenorff: *takes Ferrarkenorff's advice and gets some pork* Yum, I have to agree with you there. Lovely, salty, pork! *bites off huge chunks and swallows it greedily*

The name's Ferrarkenorff, and IF you stick around long enough, I might even be able to help you become the Red Dragon you SHOULD be...noble and mighty, and just an EENSY bit merciless, heh heh.
{Gets some odd looks from the green dragon.}
Oh, alright - and I might even decide to give you a crash course in Dragon-Human compassion, I suppose...it's the LEAST I can do.

Red*noticing Smirky's expression* Aw, don't worry Sir Smirkenorff, even though I'm a red dragon I'll still be your pal - unofficially. Green and red dragons aren't supposed to get on really, you know *whispers* although that isn't true I don't think.
