Here is a cross-section of a small, stable, colinear reality consisting of two baby universes:
Event One Two
1.......X.....Y
2.......Y.....X
3.......X.....Y
4.......Y.....Y
5.......Y.....X
6.......X.....X
(note: some Events share the same outcome - this is because the alternative outcome exists in other universes)
SHUNT Event Two with regards to these universes. Produce the revised Event table.

SHUNTing Event 2 is the act of swapping the positions of the outcomes it is associated with.

Good try but I'm afraid it's not quite right.
The task was to SHUNT Event Two. You declared a SHUNT on Event One. Also, the table depicts all the Events shunted instead of just number two.
The correct answer is:
"Set Two By One And Two!"
"Spellcasting SHUNT!"
Revised Reality:
Event One Two
1........X......Y
2........X......Y (instead of Y......X)
3........X......Y
4........Y......Y
5........Y......X
6........X......X
The rush you experienced was due to the spell being improperly cast - the table you produced did not correspond to the specifications, so SHUNT applied to ALL universes, including our own (although this is simulated here, so no damage has been done). You will only experience a rush if you are residing in one of the universes chosen for SHUNTing.
Well done for trying, though. Partial credit has been awarded.

Indeed! The situation was the same with the previous assignment - once I showed everyone how to do it they got it straight away. I think I'd better make the next class more detailed - more examples etc. It's not particularly difficult - it's just all the details and theory work behind it bogs things down.
There will be a short exam at the end of the year which will touch upon all the classes. Passing it will grant you the licence to apply QEM in real life.

Well I got it, sorry Malefact about missing some of your lesson. After the creature attacked me it transpiried its bites are poisionous and I spent time in the hospital wing but I have copied up all the relevant notes
