*Callimpsest wanders into the Familiars' Quarters, and sees that one of the Pegathors, Medusia, is highly agitated. He is about to sing to her, when...*
Whatever is she doing?
*Medusia rises into the air, frightening several of the familiars; then, with a speed unimaginable from her size, she blasts through the doors, breaking them asunder. She flies off towards the Forest of Dunn.*
My... my word. Several of my words in fact. I don't understand.
* Callimpsest hurries over and manages to secure the doors. All the other creatures, those with the power of speech and those without, are silent. Is it the clasp of fear; or is it a veil of secrecy? Callimpsest frets.*
I can't help recalling the legend of the ravens at the Tower of London; it's said that if they fly from the Tower, then doom is in the offing. Could the same be true here?

[OOC: Notice where the Pegathor was heading! I'm hoping this can be followed up on the Surrounds Forum, where there are currently a higher number of regular posters/readers. I'm not a member there yet; but if any of you want to post on Surrounds on this subject, feel free! Perhaps more of the animals will 'transfer' in a similar way...]

[OOC: My Surrounds character will not be Callimpsest; he will have as much chance of coming across the pegathor as anyone else, though will have other special interests. But if any of you want to include the escaped Pegathor in your Surrounds campaigns, feel free!
