Term 1 At KMBS

Seeing as we now have 33 members and for a lot of the term we had between 10 and 20 then I have bbeen asked by our librarian to do a recap (like an end of term assembley I suppose). So here goes;
*Rob strides onto the hall looking grand in his new tutor robes, all students are gathered with the tutors at a large table at the back*
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this fine school in its first term. I have been selected to present the first end of term assembley seeing as I have been here since the start almost.
KMBS has had many adventures during this first term. We opened our doors to students and we got some very good teachers such as Knight Malefact, Knight Thanatos, Lady Snowwie and of course our two superb Headmistresses Kulaemii and Pheonix Flame who are currently missing.
We also had a member of Staff 'Lord_Dennis' who had now left on a leave of absense to sort out his affairs and take a much needed break. He taught Basic Dungeon Skills and did very well.
Our first proper adventure was after the beginning of school inspection and sorting when a half-formed orc entered the school through an ancient portal in a broom cupboard, it attacked Thanatos and many other students. We captured it in a trap which exploded on Dennis and then me and Malefact used some very powerful magic using the 'Forbidden Items' in the Art of Spellcasting room to unform it.
Both of the injured Tutors and the injured students made a full recovery and we held a celebration in 'Nettle-Rose' common room to celebrate. This was our first challenge and most definatly the easiest.
Lessons continued and of course myself who when arriving at the school was believed to have Evil Overlord Syndrome (EOS) had apparently been cured of it by helping out other people in the school. We embarked on the Expedition to find Lord_Bob, a warder of the Netherworlds prison. He was wounded with a portal gem shard through him. It turned out he had been attacked by Scareye, everyone was throughly confused by this until Scareye appeared. He fought off the expeditioneers easily and used a death spell on Lord Bob. He then fought off Hordriss the confuser who used a portal to teleport to Scareye, Scareye threw a portal shard through him and sent him into a strange realm where he has not been seen since.
Scareye proceeded to magically bind us all up and then my former familiar Dracus the dark elemental dragon arrived to 'save' us but it turned out he was a spy working for Scareye. It was at this point that our headmistress gifted us with spells and mine was a memory spell, I had a dream in which I remembered my true past and history in the Netherworlds. I awoke with my memory restored and realised Scareye had implanted me with a false memory and sent me with his loyal follower Dracus to put an end to the boarding school because of its powerful magic. Just when all hope seemed lost we fought back and knocked out Dracus, Scareye disappeared and Lord Bob's deputy Tyron Silverblade arrived and used a ressurection spell he had been given to bring Lord Bob back to life.
Lord Bob and I told everyone about Scareye, he was a powerful wizard who rose up against the Netherworld's rule and tried to take it over, he killed their king and the Archmage of the Grail Chapter who was my mentor. However he was eventually captured and emprisoned in the newly opened prison. He commited apparent suicide but it turns out he used a ritual meaning that he is neither dead nor alive but can switch between both planes and cannot be destroyed by normal means.
Tyron and Lord Bob teleported back to the prison to sort things out and mere days later we found the Headmistresses Office ransacked and them missing. We followed their clues and found one item and one potion which would be useful in our time of need.
In the schoolyard then the Tin Child statue had appeared and its helmet had crashed to the floor. We found underground catacombs made by the Elder Lords and managed to assemble a weapon which cannot be unsheathed and has been entrusted to me, I cannot remove it from my belt. Myself and Snowwie are currently choosing paths in this room and my new familiar, Antonius the gold dragon has been sent to help us. All students are advised to join in the quest as it will develop the main plot a great deal.

Thank you, ringmasterrob - an excellent summary. Could you tell us a little more about Scareye, please? I'm guessing that he possesses a scar and an eye, but beyond that I'm unsure. Should we be on our guard for him around the school? What does he look like, and what might he do to us?

Information on Scareye eh?
He was some form of fallen sorcerer or archmage from a lost age who fled into hiding when he was cast out of the Grail Chapter in the Netherworlds. He amassed great power and studied ancient, arcane and very dark magics and gained the support of many outcast monsters. No one knows exactly who he is. Well he was originally called Scareye because of the way he would mutilate his victims, ironcically then in the final battle when he was defeated then a BOLT spell hit him in his eye and scarred him. He lead a massive following such as fallen mages and many grail mages betrayed the order and joined his side. He also had great control over Orcish, Minotaur and Goblin tribes and persuaded the dark elemental dragons to join him mainly due to Dracus.
After his defeat then most of his trusted advisors and himself were taken to the Netherworlds Prison where they remained. Although the Minotaur king Laiza was killed and his remaining men carved out great catacombs to be his tomb, they still guard them to this day, Dracus eluded capture and obviously arrived to help Scareye again.
Scareye's behaviour 6months ago in the prison changed, he spent all his time silent in concentration, it turned out books and componenets needed for a VERY powerful rite were smuggled in to him. He was thought to have commited suicide 3months ago but then he appeared in the prison and assaulted their guard force, he managed to break out many of his inner circle but not all. It turns out he is now a plane-shifter, he is neither mortal nor spirit but a perfect combination of both. He can physically and magically attack you especially with death spells which you can be ressurected from unless you are decapitated.
He cannot be hit by magic or physical attacks and is able to appear in either the physical or the spirit plane. He will live forever in this way unless a way is found to defeat him, the weapon we found in the Elderlord tunnels may play some part in this but only I can weild it.
Scareye knows his plans to use me have failed so he has retreated to the Netherworlds mainly to regroup and reform for a bigger, more powerful assault on us. Lord_Bob is in the surrounds of the school (outside of school forum) seaching for 4 of a set of 5 rings, Scareye has one and 5 will allow him to summon the perfect field general to lead his army to victory. Scareye may appear here at almost anytime althouhg it is harder now than it was before due to certain enchantments placed on the school. You may be attacked if you are outside the school building but Scareye cannot appear here but his minions could attack the school. BE ON YOUR GUARD!
