*The postboy who has been delivering christmas cards and gifts to the boarding school arrives with a present for Rob, unfortunatly Rob has taken a leave of absent during the holiday season to attend to business in both Wolfenden and the Netherworlds and is not there. The postboy is told to put it in Rob's advanced magic classroom. The label on it reads; [glow=red,2,300]Dear Rob; Merry Christmas and enjoy this present. It will make sure you are never late! Seasons Greetings from you friends, the Grail Chapter.[/glow] It is emitting a light ticking but the postboy assumes it is a clock of some sort. He places it on Rob's desk and heads back to the school gates. A Few hours later there is a massive explosion from the Magic corridor in which Advanced Magic, Potions and Basic Dungeon Skills are situated. Thankfully no one is in there due to the holidays but those staying in the school for the holidays are instantly alerted, the damage is very severe and it appears the South tower may collapse due to it. All remaining inhabitants of the school rush to the scene.* [OOC: Who will be first on the scene? Who sent the package? Did Rob Know about this? Is the south tower going to collapse? Was the tower really empty? So many questions which people who arrive on the scene will need to find answers to! ]

*Callimpsest, who is something of a coward, remains in the library, listening to the thumping of his daunted heart.*

*The explosion has sent quakes throughout the whole building, they are starting to have effect. The recently repaired Nettle-Rose corridor collapses into complete rubble, several large chunks of plaster from the library ceiling crash to the ground, which sends Callimpsest fleeing under his desk. Lily Thorn common room is now sporting a giant crack in the floor, through this crack several armchairs and a coffee table have fallen. Fern Camomile's dormitories are completely ruined. the kitchen's food is now sprawled all over its floor and the staffroom's furniture has collapsed and fallen everywhere. Someone needs to go and take a look at this! The Caves under the school which some students are in have almost caved in!!!

*Snowwie is first to arrive in the magical lessons corridor and is greeted by the less than pleasant site of a blazing inferno, the corridor itself is cracked and suits of armour lie on the floor in pieces. It appears the advanced magic room has blown through the wall of the potions room and caused some flammable potion to ignite and Advanced magic, Potions and Basic dungeon skills are inaccessable through the inferno*
[OOC: Any magical attempts to put out the fire will fail as the explosion was a magical type explosion and therefore cannot be despelled]

*Snowwie doesn't have to run far as the heavy shockwaves of the bomb have sent crowds of people remaining in the school running to the corridor.*

I'd stay and help, but now that I know what's caused this I've got to get back to my house, at least for the moment.

*After the housemasters have instructed their students to remain in the dorms (or in Fern-Camomiles case the common rooms) then they return and the effort to put out the fire is about to begin*
[OOC: So what's your plan? remember please that your characters aren't aware the fire is magical and may use magic.]

Well, water or cold seems the most obvious solution - someone get bucket chains going and I'll try a cone of cold.
* Tries a cone of cold, which fails *
Damn. Anyone know create water?

*much to everyone's surprise the rain seems to intensify the inferno and cause it to hiss and spit to the point where Snowwie is forced to despell he magic. The people helping have begun a bucket chain and the first bucket is on its way* [OOC: Some good ideas so far, keep it going! ]
