[ModNote: Continued from Empty Classroom.] Ok then listen up, your teacher has turned themself into a frog so you will have to wait a week to meet them. I dont know what they have planned for your lesson so I will just cover the basics. Potion brewing isn't as simple as many think. It involves much more than brewing up a few herbs. Even the most accomplished mages regard potion brewing in high esteem. when there is no time to cast a healing spell then a healing potion can be injested and have almost immediate effect. However, in this lesson we require full attention and concentration. Some ingredients and potions are EXTREMELY dangerous if prepared incorrectly. So this lesson you will write down your 5 golden rules for the Potions lab. then at the end we will discuss them. *hands out sheets for you to write (post) your 5 rules on*

Some that came to mind: 1)Dont do any silly phranks like putting a tree sloth potion in the teachers tea 2) Dont use your familiar as a 'guineapig' 3)If you do somehting wrong and end up creating a horrrible creature notify the teacher at once 4) Dont leave any potions lying around 5)Never drink or eat anything that you dont know to be safe not the best ideas, but they're based on what happened at the old school I taught at

Well done every1. Stop writing now please, sorry to cut you short but I dont know how long I will have so I will cover the basics with you while I can. The rules Dennis and Snowwie came up with were good. The official Magical law rules are a mixture of both their suggestions; (these arent in order of importance, each is as important as the next) 1)Pay full atention at all times 2)No irresponsible behaviour and/or practical jokes 3)Protective clothing at all times 4)Always clean up your experiments afterwards. Nothing is eat or drunk unless it is checked as safe 5) ALWAYs tell the teacher if anything goes wrong or you are unsure.
Now for rule number 3 then for us we must wear goggles and a protective cloak at all times. Mine is a very rare one that will protect me from anything. You lot will need a spellproof cloak if you can get one. They are avaliable in the school shop. Now please write down the 5 rules, No Talking!

Good good, all finished? ok then. For my cover lesson I will do a part theory side and a part practical. Since we dont have too long left of this lesson then I will be just giving out some basic equiptment. Firstly the cauldren, a simple and basice piece of equipment which is made of pewter and most of your basic potions are brewed in a pewter cauldren size 3 which is the on you get, secondly you have a rack of vials which you will use to hold various potions. To make our flames we will use basic flame charms. Lastly your protective goggles and gloves which are obviously for protection Here we go then, everything given out. Oh yes here are your text books "A Beginners guide to expert potion brewing"
